David K. Hergott, DMD
Dr. David Hergott is a native of Meriden. After graduating from Providence College, he attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his dental degree in 1985. He then joined his father, G. Allen Hergott, DDS in the practice of general family dentistry. To ensure he stays current with the advances in the field of dentistry, he is committed to attending continuing education courses and being an active member in local and state dental associations. He is a past-president of the Meriden-Wallingford-Cheshire Dental Society and has chaired the Give Kids a Smile program for many years. Dr. Hergott was voted by his peers as one of Connecticut’s Top Dentists in 2011, 2014 and 2019. While Dr. Hergott’s priority is to provide quality comprehensive dental care, he and his team are equally committed to ensuring their patients are comfortable at each and every visit. Dr. Dave resides in Durham where he enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. If he isn’t enjoying bike rides, hiking or water sports, he is busy working in his yard and tending to his chickens.
Kole Krasniqi, DDS
Dr. Krasniqi graduated from dental school in 2006. Since then, he has dedicated his career not only to caring for patients in his private practice, but also to giving back to the community. He has previously taught dental professionals and has volunteered his time through programs such as Donated Dental Services, Dental Mission of Mercy, and Give Kids a Smile, providing free dental care to individuals and families in need.
Outside the office, Dr. Krasniqi and his wife, Anita, enjoy life as proud parents of three children. Their home is also brightened by the playful energy of their Shih Tzu, Bibble.
In his free time, Dr. Krasniqi enjoys biking and is an avid reader, with a special love for history books.
Dr. Tracy Kania
Dr. Tracy Kania grew up in Southington, CT and has been with Hergott Dental Associates since 2018.
Dr. Kania graduated from University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland in 2016. She completed a general practice residency at Danbury Hospital, receiving advanced training in all aspects of dentistry. She worked in New Fairfield, CT prior to joining Dr. Hergott. Dr. Kania is a member of the ADA, CSDA, and local Meriden-Wallingford-Cheshire chapter dental society.
In her free time, Tracy enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time in the Cape and Islands, running in road races, and spending time with her family and dog.
